Work at Home...Scams or Not???

Hello Everyone,

My Name is Robert and I am currently majoring in computer science in Oregon. This is my first blog ever so please bare with me if you can. I am 27 years old and definitiely not getting any younger. I have a beautiful 5 year old daughter, and a lovely fiancee. It sounds like a nice little life I have going, but if you believe that than you would be VERY sadly mistaken. I live in a tiny one bedroom aparment, and only see my daughter on weekends. I have seen (and experienced) much in my short time on this earth and even only being 27 years old I am tired. I started working very young to help support my family so high school was never completed. Over the years I have worked many jobs, from gas station attendant, to supervisor in a multimillion dollar, world wide corporation. I'm almost what you might call a jack of all trades.

Now that the summary of my past is out of the way, lets get to the purpose of this blog. I'm Broke! As are many of you hard working red blooded Americans out there. The unemployment rate is higher than ever, even though so many of us WANT to work. In fact some of us want to have that sense of accomplishment and financial security so bad, that without it we are just shaving years off of our lives dealing with the constant stress of trying to just survive. For many of us, just keeping a roof over our heads feels impossible at times. Needless to say, I am sick of it. My fiancee deserves better, and more importantly, my daughter deserves better. So I have decided to take some risks. I am going to take the little bit of money I have, and I am going to put it into the work at home programs you CONSTANTLY see on the web, and probably in your email quite frequently as well.

I think for many of us it's our dream to be able to work a couple hours a day at most, and make the kind of money that these sites boast you will. Many of them say you can make an easy $20,000 per month with little effort. Now I don't know about that, but I do know this, I am desperate and am willing to try whatever it takes to take care of my family. So here is what I want to do with this blog. I am going to invest in these work at home programs, then as I go along I am going to continuously update you all frequently through this blog. My goal is to finally crack open the mystery of whether or not these work at home sites and programs are actually profitable, or truly just scams. I will keep you updated on which types of programs I am signing up for, the cost of them, and the outcome as I work away.

Now I have two goals here. The first is to inform America, and the world, whether or not these work at home websites and programs really do work, and the other goal is to finally come out of this horrible and stressful rut I am stuck in. I don't graduate for more than a year, and at this rate, financially I'll never make it. I am not a salesman, a marketer, or any kind of an advertiser. I am a father, and soon to be husband, who is terrified his family will soon have nowhere to call home. So lets do this and see what happens. I have been interested in this subject for some time, and I am pretty sure many of you out there have contemplated on trying a work at home program. So here goes.

I am starting my work at home quest by using something called Google Adsense. I went to google, signed up for Adsense, and got approved the next morning, which happens to be the morning I am typing this blog. To use Google Adsense from what I can tell you either need a website or blog. Then Google will provide sponosored links that can be placed on either your website or blog. After the sponsored links are in place, everytime someone clicks on one of those links, you get paid. The best part is Google Adsense is free. Now this is just the first program I am trying. There will be many more to come, and as I said, I will constantly update to let everyone know what's working and what's not. So anyways, I hope you all enjoy this blog, and more importantly that you become educated from it, and who knows? Maybe we'll all get a little bit richer.
