Affiliate Marketing (Scam or Not?)

Hello Everyone,

Well if your reading this then you probably read the first blog/article I wrote about testing the work at home programs. Well after deciding to try google adsense, I have now moved onto my next venture called Affiliate Marketing. Now as I said before to keep in mind, I am no professional at any of this, but I am going to do the best I can to update and inform everyone all about these programs.

(Update) Adsense: So to start with I want to give a quick update about the adsense account I signed up for. From the way it seems, Adsense can start working in weeks, but could possibly take months. Take this blog for example. I just started it yesterday. In order for this blog to work for me, I have to get traffic to it. Now this is no easy task. So with adsense the idea is to get the sponsored links on your page, and then when people click on them, you get paid. Now this may sound very siimple, but it's not as easy as you might think. You have one major obstacle that will stand in your way. You need people to come to your site or whats the point? So as it would seem, if you are using Adsense, traffic and advertising is the key. I will update more down the road about whatever advertising steps I have taken, what works, and what is a waste of time.

That brings us to the affiliate marketing. The new program I am trying is something called Free Site Signup. This actually seems to be a very legit company who's goal is to help you make money. Here is the link if you are interested. http://robincorporated.com/affiliatemarketingincome/ This site is exactly how it sounds, free. Unless you want a premium membership in which they give you free advertising t search engines, a , and a 6 week online training course to help you start making money in the fastest ways. I also noticed one really important thing with this company. They actually have phone based customer service. This seems to be kind of rare in the sea of work at home companies out there. The best part about this company is for the premium membership its only about 7 or 8 bucks. Compared to many of them thats really cheap. I payed the fee and they built my website in about a day. So far I would have to say this company seems legit. I will continue on with this and see what happens, and of course keep everyone updated.

So in conclusion, I am starting to see the potential to make money online, But I have a feeling we have a long road ahead of us. I have high hopes of making that residual income in minutes a day, but so far I have actually had to put in some hours. It would seem that the age old saying may actually be true. (You can't get something for nothing.) Well you never know, we may stumble across that get rich quick program, or at least a program that actually does require extremely minimal work. Well that's it for today. I hope this is educational and helpful so far, and thank you for joining me on this quest to determine......Riches or Rip-Off???
